Default 2018 GT3 Front Lift System

I currently do not have the front axle lift system in my GT3 configuration. I do not know if it will be too low for day to day driving.

Any feedback?

If you're really talking about a 2018 GT3, that is a 991 GT3, then you posted this on the wrong forum.

A replacement cup front lip is cheaper and lighter

I live in Chicago suburbs. Mostly flat. I will use it as my primary car until winter. I have a regular 2006 911 and never had any issues.

Your 991.2 GT3 will have considerably less ground clearance at the front compared to your 997 911 due to the lower ride height but mostly because of the aggressive front fascia and splitter. My 996 GT3 would scrape everywhere but a lot of damage could be avoided with care. Still, there were certain driveways that I simply had to avoid. If you are daily driving your car, you might want to consider that having to be so careful gets old quickly. Having said that, if I were in the market for a 991.2 I would not order the lift system. The added expense, weight and adding another partsomething that can fail are things that I could do without. Also the thought of having to assess a speed bump/gutter/driveway etc and then press a button before approaching seems very un GT car like. I'd prefer to just be a little more careful and consider the front splitter a consumable item.

YMMV.

If the suspension is adjustable, and you are not tracking the car... set it up a half-inch (or so) higher. Most of the potential issues might become non-issues.
