Default Miles per gallon

Not had mine very long and wondered what I could expect under "spirited driving" ? Not track type driving but fast road driving?

I took the car to a driver training day yesterday and was quite amazed by how quickly I used half a tank of petrol......I have a V8 M3 as well, so used to a thirsty car....but I think the GT3 might be worse!

The tank on the GT3 is a lot smaller than the M3. I think it's 14-15 gallons if I remember. The GT3 can get around 9-10 MPG with "Spirited" driving.

6mpg on track so 10-12 sounds likely for canyon runs.

Christ, that's low....my tank range was showing 150 after I filled up, after a day of fast runs and quite hard acceleration, so it was right then!

Thanks!

6GT3 is similar on gas mileage vs. E90 M3. I think in city driving it is better.

I get better city mileage in the 6GT3 (16MPG-ish) than I do in my C2 (15MPG-ish). Go figure; I press the loud pedal much harder in the GT3. Highway mileage is a lot better in both.

On trips to the Ring I get 30mpg (UK) at a steady 75

On track - 10mpg (UK)

Hate RHD and its stupidly small tank. Hence bought a LHD one with the correct 90ltr long range tank. That way I get to Germany on a bit more than 1/2 tank...

P.S. It makes my old E61 M5 look horrendous. Worst I ever did was 7 Ring laps to a tank in it - 147km to 70ltr - you do the maths...

around 15 mpg on street driving if you drive it "correctly".

We got 7.4 at our track day in Fontana last summer. It gets 16-18 around town, and 25-26 cruising at 80-85 mph.

When I got my 6GT2 back from shop this spring, it showed a combined mileage since last reset of 6.4mpg. It used to see a lot of track use. 23.4mpg this spring so far.....I must have gotten old, LOL.
