Default Out driving my 6GT3 today

What a car!

After driving the 997 tip for a few days (wife's car), I backed the 996GT3 out of the garage today and took it to work. What a car !!!

Always puts a smile on my face driving the 996gt3. Not a lot of cars do that anymore.

The sound, the speed, the feedback, the cornering force, and the shake-my-fillings-off suspension.

There is that pesky oil pressure warning light that acts like the car is out of oil pressure ... so life isn't perfect after all

It's all these potholes from the rain.

I will be taking mine out this weekend for a drive, hoping to get the MPSCs up to temp and see how she goes. Maybe we should do a bay area event...

Let's do a Bay Area event when the effing sky clears up and they repair the roads again. Highway 1 is washed out near Big Sur. Highway 9 is closed above Saratoga. Highway 35 is full of pot holes, as is Highway 101.

I love taking my car out for a romp. Any excuse will do. I got a bunch of smiles as folks watched me wrestle a 50-pound bag of dog food behind the seats and between the roll cage. (it was too big for the frunk)

After I went from Mobil 1 to Motul, I haven't seen the low oil sensor light

Me too.
Turned 40K on the way to the LA literature meet swap in Anaheim.

Cruise control is handy at times.

^ Congrats! These cars were meant to be driven, not collect dust in the garage.
Mine is about to hit 60K

Today would have been a perfect driving day. Car's finally under the knife getting lines welded and a few other items.

996GT3 is a classic. I had a near perfect one and let it go. I kick myself about that car more than any other one I've owned. Why did I sell it, why?

Drive ours just about every day....93k on the clock.

RE the oil pressure drop, its the sending unit, they go bad. Not hard to replace. Happened to me about 50k miles ago...
