IMO it's easily 100k. The little things don't matter to everyone and there's what, three 996 GT3s for sale publicly right now outside of Pcarmarket, and the only one with an asking of under 100k is heavily modified.

Heck, if it's not, I'll just buy it and sell my black one.

What was posted before was exactly why I passed on aggressively pursuing the car -- not worth bending over backwards for me. The hard part is that is will likely hit 100k like brontosaurus just mentioned...so in the scheme of things, it would have been a fair buy -- as you can see I can't win!

Interesting development, we now have a questionable DME report...

A few range 2s shouldn’t bother anyone. It’s the “wiping clean” comment that’s questionable.

a completely agree with you on this and i have the non-full leather. that would be the one thing i would add to my car, if i could. that one difference does really change the feel of the interior more than you would expect.

that said, i also don't have all the added weight of the leather everywhere - a fair trade off, i guess.

If you divide the miles about 30k by the total operating hours 890 that works out to a average of 34 mph. IMHO the DME has not been wiped.

I found it odd to show a fairly clean DME with very few range 1 but then on the comments saying there was over revs and had range 2s from the seller?

yes, odd indeed, especially in context of comments indicating that the seller is aware of how to "wipe" a dme report (something I didn't think was possible). On the other hand, for what its worth, I bought some air cooled parts from the seller a few years back and found him to be pretty trustworthy. strange.

Funny the guy was driving it through some ruts and you can tell the suspension does not have a lot of give.
That’s where I landed as well. Kevin, I think you and I are looking for the same 996 GT3… :-)

Whole thing stinks if you ask me. I am actually perplexed at the sale of this car -- especially since I was involved with attempting to buy it before it hit pcarmarket and how that all played out. I think I saw docs for an 86' 911 in the photo gallery. Theres a photo of a registration to a name different than the seller/owner(s) I spoke with. Carfax dates and ownership seem off to me as well. I am a bit surprised because the seller does have a good reputation from what I know.

That's the problem with today's market. Questionable concerns are easily overlooked. If I were to spend 100K+ on a 996 GT3 it better check 90% of the boxes of my requirement. This car won't pass that list. interestingly no one has mentioned the "worn-looking" PCCB rotors... That's going to be an expensive thing to visit one way or another.
