996 GT3 CEL and 95db Exhaust
Hi,
Have been around the forum for a long time seaching information and looking thru various threds.
I recently signed up just to get some answers I didn's mange to get a clear view on.
Own a 2004 that has 55 923miles on it, only using it for the trackdays and time attack events.
It's fairly stock with Öhlins Road/track chassi.
1. I get the CEL P0420/P0430, (stock exhaust), I get both the codes at the same time after doing a reset. Have read numerous threads but newer got if it's the cats or something else? I do think it's the cats(stock). Can any one confirm how they soved their problem running stock?
2. On the same subject, do any of you have a good recipie of exhaust that clears the 95db limit on the tracks? In sweden we have this limitations on every race track.

Hi, thanks for the answer, so this is what i'm seaching for. Have any of you had experience of installing new sensors on the existing cats and solved the problem.. or is it the CATS? The error codes appers at the same time = both sides.
Anyone else with this problem? It should be fairly common.. many other threads with similiar problem are related to aftermarket cats etc.. so it makes it hard to determine what it is.
Anyone else just changed the CATS to solve the problem?
