Default Bridgestone Potenza RE-71R

Anyone driven their 6gt3 with RE-71R on road or track? How do they compare with NT-01 or R6/R7 (grip, lap-times, wear, noise, etc.)?

I see the only available rear size on tirerack is 285/30/18. Any problems with that?

Thx!

really wish they would make a 315-335/30-18 or 305/35-18 size...seem like great tires

Have the 71-R's for my E92 M3 for the track and they work great. Not MPSC 1 or 2 good, but for the cost they worked well. I found them to be fairly predictable and for a fat and heavy car that under-steers, the square setup I run allowed me to muscle it around turns. Wear on a hot day was also very good.
Chet

PS. Also quiet on the street as i drive to and from track on them.

Slower/on par with NT01. Heard mixed vs. MPSC. They last a LOOOONG time.
For the GT4 guys, this is the tire. They like it.
