+ 1 on cup bumper and center exit. greatly differentiates the GT3 from Carrera range IMO

Mind does not currently have the bumper reinforcement bar fitted but I I don't have bumperettes being RoW car so not an issue to bolt it up. No exhaust heat shielding on mine and the bumper is just fine. There is just enough room to fit my hand between the muffler and the bumper skin and yet no melting paint or bumper.

Ray, do you have to change out the bumper structure as well as the cover? i see the tow hook is on the right side on your car rather than in the center. How does that work?

I don't have the cup tow hook because I did not want to remove the bumper brace/structure.
The hole is there but does not bother me.

The tow hook actually bolts into the location where the bumper would normally go. One of my projects is to fab something up that allows me to keep the tow hook and replace the bumper beam or add a crash bar.

Thanks Luis. I need the tow hook for the track so it sounds like I'd need to swap out the brace as well.

I'm with you guys...no rear bumper bar was just too hardcore for me to consider which is why i had my exhaust custom made instead of using the cup stuff.

Ray, do you mean the original tow hook under the plate, or the new hook assembly for the cup car?

This is the new hook assembly for the cup car - I get a little nervous without the bumper bar in place, so it REALLY needs to get fixed this winter. I bought all the parts, BUT IIRC the cup car bumper cover will not fit over the bumper...

It fits over the bumper just fine, it just won't work with the factory cup tow hook.

Thanks, Louis. For some reason I though it didn't fit. It is possible that my standoffs are from the wrong 996 model - will check tonight.

So does the cup tow hook use the fastening point on the passenger side for the bumper?

Right? It's likely to cause serious financial damage
