996 turbo meztger with high mileage issues?
150k miles, is that a lot for a meztger?? When do they give out. I never heArd of any really blowing up. What's everyone's experience? I am looking at building A track car with it

Yes they are quite bulletproof on average!
I had my 996TT engine rebuilt after 50K+ miles (80K+ km), car was in practice only driven at race tracks or in autobahn type of driving at 530hp+ levels.
Not many miles but very hard miles.
And, the condition of the original engine was perfect when we opened and had it inspected!
(I had it rebuilt because of random misfires, however the misfires were due to a faulty Variocam solenoid only)

Your videos are testament to the use.
if I remember right Pwdrhound's looked good when he pulled it apart too.
There's another member with over 120k and 60k+ of it with Kevin's ZC turbos.

The car had some misfiring and just thought better to have it rebuilt after my 10 (!) track seasons with the car. So I took advice from powdrhound's example.
Same random misfiring continued after the rebuild and then found out the reason for it was just a Variocam solenoid for cylinder bank 2, car's been perfectly running since then.

A member, T2, racked up over 400K miles on his 996 Turbo and tore into the engine to address some leaks and what was suspected to be wear but found no wear.
There have been other examples which have covered even more miles. IIRC one written up in Excellence covered 576K miles.
However, these are mainly street driven cars, albeit not necessarily driven like the "little old lady from Pasadena".
But whenever you put a car/engine on the track there is an increase in the odds of something going wrong. Maybe not right away probably as if it did these engines would not have nearly as good a rep as they have.
All you can do is take steps to address some of the areas of concern and give the engine servicing that is consistent with its track usage and cross your fingers.

Thanks if you have seen the videos, fastest street legal 996 in Europe I know

The sustained, long, hi speed tracks are unlike anything in my world.
I'm barely into season 2 and many of my outings are for just an
hour at lunch. Cool to hear people have ran these motors hard for many miles and at tear down find little wear. Fluid changes are pretty cheap maintenance for those who track, etc.
