Default Anyone here own 987 Spyder?

Any 6GT3 owner driven/own a 987 Boxster Spyder? Would like to hear your feedback on it. I've never driven one but I heard many good thing about it. Mainly want to know is it an analog car? Is the handling raw? I appreciate the feedback!

I just bought one. 15k miles car, 6 speed and GT2 LWB seats, all I can say is WOW! What a machine. Analog, yes; light, yes; incredible steering, yes; perfect compliment to my 6-3. My wife loves it too. There is so much more to say about the car, but to my taste, it's the pure distillation of what Porsche stands for. It's a pure driving machine. The top makes it quirky, but for me this adds so much to the experience, I love the simplicity of purpose. We've been away from home all weekend and both my wife and I looked at eachother this morning and said.....we miss the Spyder. It's crazy how attached we already are to this great little car.

.....More to come as this thread develops.

I'm on my second one, that's how good they Are! I drove mine the last 3 days, and get out with a Sh t eating grin every time.
Must haves:
6spd
Lwb seats
Sport exhaust

The rest is up to you!

Oh, and the top? Psh to all who have a problem with it! I bought this current car earlier this year, and hadn't driven it with the top off (not down) yet. I got rid of my former car (for my 997.2RS) in late 2011. I timed myself on both the first time taking top off (1:40, not rushing) as well as putting back on (1:26)...once you know how it works, it's a piece of cake. Add the ability to run it with just the top and no rear curtain, and it's a car like to other.

Analog, quick, feels really light. Steering spot on, handling VERY well balanced.

SUCH a winner!!!

Is good to hear feedback from other 6-3 owners! From both owners I hear light, precise steering, analog

Couldn't wait to get back in the car today and take it to work. Even in some moderate traffic, here in LA, the car is a joy. Serious piece of Kit!
