Just bought my first Porsche ever - 2004 911 4S Cabriolet
At 51 years of age, I was always interested in a 911 Porsche. I have had several Corvettes, and recently drove home our ordered 2016 C7 z51 coupe. I looked for awhile, and came across this 2004 triple black wide body (what I wanted as far as color) one female owner with 46.5k miles. My only real dislike was the tiptronic trans, but that is a good thing for my wife, and there are a ton of opinions - good and not so good on that trans.
The main thing was the car had abundant "micro-scratches" The kind you get when someone washes the car with the same towel that they did the whole car with, wheels, etc. Black is probably the worst color for this type of washing error. So this weekend was spent with a compound/polish treatment. She came out great! The rear deck lid script was removed by someone at a Miami Heat game parking, so that has been ordered. I love the Techart 19x8.5 fronts and 19x11 rear wheels. I love the car so far, I am pretty ****, so just getting things dialed in, and learning some unique things on a car I have never owned before, so far I am liking the experience. The car overall is in excellent condition.
I just finished the rear garage (32x26 air conditioned) so that is where the new/older 911 will live it's life. The front garage houses the new C7 Vette, and two Harleys (a 2014 V-rod, heavily modified motor designed by Porsche) so I guess I am somewhat of a strange bird on my vehicle choices
