not sure about that, you're too humble sometimes. Look forward to getting to see that view of your car this year. Trying to make Glen happen with NNJR I'll need you to show me around!

No, really trying to make NNJR in July work or I will target either the Connecticut Valley or Metro NY events in August. Currently I have a conflict with the NNJR date but they are one of my favorite groups to run with it would be really nice if I could make that one.

Cvr is the one to make. Or ner/ncr. I wouldn't bother with metro ny.

That is if you can't make nnjr.

RS-Freak:

You probably already know this, but there are 2 flavors of cup exhaust: a 130Db version, and a 110Db (SORRY, that was meant to be 103db) version. Both will get you in trouble with the cops and many tracks...

I had my car on a dyno last week and it made 102 db max inside the room. It is a 997.2 cup exhaust. I lost about 5 hp at the top and gained it at 4000-5600 over the Europipe. Hate to lose anything at the top, but it is 65 lbs lighter than the Europipe I removed

Chuck, go Catless long tube with a tune and M&M. You will notice a very big difference from this setup (which was the first iteration I ran)

Not sure if you are interested in trying our 997.1 3.6 setup on your car. With a stock 997 cup muffler or street muffler we are seeing 20-22whp gain over stock on average from 5000-7500rpm on a 996 GT3. on a 997 GT3 it's 28whp max at 7000rpm. This is a full 321 stainless setup. With no flaps and a stock center muffler total exhaust weight is 66lbs lighter than stock.

I have a full custom 20ga setup I can offer as well that is 89lbs lighter if interested.

I agree about the cats probably being a bottleneck. The 996 cup parts have catalytic material in the muffler ends. This can be a problem as you now only have room for 2 sensors, unless you get creative...
