I have an 05 GT3 with about 7000 miles on it. I haven't done the pining/wielding of coolant hoses yet but plan to.

I know a member here machined threaded connectors and while that sounds like the best option to me, it seems rather difficult and time consuming.

Are there Porsche parts that are threaded that can be used interchangeably with the GT3?

The only application I've seen with threaded fittings was a one off custom setup done by someone here on Rennlist. Big $$$ for that solution.

Hate to imagine if threading is done incorrectly ie screw it in and it's not aligned : (. Anyway to get to all the fittings engine needs to be dropped whatever method you choose. Mike

These guys do a different repair where they knurl the fitting and reinstall with epoxy.

No idea on efficacy of this repair.
