Default Cup Suspension

I got a full set of Cup suspension when I bought my car but have never fitted it. If I did, what could I expect from it compared to the standard set up? Clearly it's for the track, so how much better would it be and could it be used on the road?

I'll clearly ask the workshop but be good to see what the opinions are here.

A similar post was done in the cup car section. I have taken this information from a post by Glen. If these are truly cup dampers they would have been 98-01 996 cup. These were the only years that used non adjustable bilstein shocks. To confirm if the are street or cup dampers you would need to confirm the length of travel. The cup shocks had a shorter length due to lower ride height and different uprights etc. So, no real benefit. If you want something different change the springs, rebuild and revalve your units already on your car. The topic of springs and revalving OEM dampers has been covered before just search. Good luck.
