I have black GT3 Seats and I want to do a project with the cushions so I was wondering if someone would be willing to help me out. Okay my options:

(1) Swap my black cushions with someone for grey cushions for a 2-tone affect

(2) Someone to sell me their black or grey leather cushions or if someone wants to sell their Alcantara ones like the ones Gert sells at Carnewal.

Why not take your cushions to an upholstery shop and have them duplicate it in whatever material you want. This is what I plan on doing as soon as I source grey Alcantara. I'm expecting it to be cheaper than Carnewal. I am also thinking of having a thinner seat cushion made to lower myself.

 

What color are your GT3 seats AC 996C2? I already have the alacantra in the grey.

 

They are black. I'm confused, if you already have the grey Alcantara inserts, what is it you want to do? Where in NJ are you?

 

I wanted the grey leather ones to do a 2-tone affect with my seats so the seats and cushions are the same material. I am located in North Jersey.

I do like the grey Alcantara, but I think I might like the grey leather set better to my tasting.

 

If you do find greay leather, will you be selling the Alcantara? Did you get them from Carnewal?

 

I dont know if I'll sell the Alacantra. I did not get them from Carnewal, got them customized by someone else. If your interested, let me know.

I had them made at a local upholstery shop and got the fabric from Gulf Fabrics.

 

I'm in NJ too, can you let me know the name of the shop. Also, how much fabric is needed for 2 seats? How much did you pay?

 

I paid $500 for everything, including the fabric, new cushions, etc..
