Default My new GT2

Joined the ranks of GT2 owners today! Seller was a fellow Rennlister, great guy.

I appreciate all the advice and suggestions I received during my search, this site has really been a valuable resource. I hope to enjoy this car for years to come..

Congrats. Wonderful car. Nothing quite like a GT2.

Congrats! Seal grey? Probably one of my favourite colours on the 996TT/GT2.

Thanks for the kind words. The car is an '03 with about 22,300 miles.

I drove it about 100 miles from the purchase site to my mechanic, where it now sits till Friday. Some minor issues are being corrected (known to me from the PPI) as well as fluids and new tires.

Come Saturday I hit the road for a 600 mile drive home. Good times!

I still recall that first drive at full noise. Amazing cars, enjoy. I was reading about new GT4 tested at phillip Island hitting 235 km/h down the straight. As an amateur I'm doing 265 km/h at the end of the straight, still in a different league, 13 years later!
