Default 996 GT3 Pirelli wet tires?

Are there Pirelli wets (or other brand) that fit our cars without upsetting the abs due to difference in wheel circumference?

Since Michelin cups are basically undriveable in standing water, brining a set of wets might be a great way of saving trackdays at the Spa or the Ring in case it rains. What are your experience from wets on these cars?

The OEM ABS system will tolerate ~6% differential in overall circumference.

I would use 5%...

I don't know if they available in Europe, but Michelin Pilot Super Sport are good in the wet (and dry, for that matter).

I have used 235-40-18 and 285-35-18 with no problem, the difference in diameter is less than 2% and Michelins tend to be wide for their nominal size.

The Super Sport come with 10/32" tread, so you may consider shaving a bit if you plan to use them on a dry track.

I run Hoosier Radial Wet H2O

245/35-18
305/30-18

No probs
