Default Concerning induction noise

Hi all

Can anyone help to diagnose the noise that you hear in the below videos? I can't hear it in the car but had a mild heart attack when I heard it on film. Seems like it's high in the rev range, maybe around 7000rpm in each gear.

Enjoy the videos. They were taken last month in South Africa at zwartkops.

Thanks
Tim
Ps. The car is a 6.2GT3 and has been decatted. Not sure if that makes a difference

just guessing but maybe the noise is the microphone reaching its limits and feeding back?

I had considered that but the noise wasn't there on previous videos. I'll see if I can use a different camera and will post an update if the results are any different.

do you have a shim on the wing.? It could be vibrating . See if there is any up & down movement.

Definitely could be the mic just distorting...I think you would hear it if it was coming from the motor and was that high-pitched

I have a similar odd induction noise from mine right at the top of the rev range - have had people who were listening from the stands at track days ask me if my car has a dual clutch gearbox. I have a BMC filter on mine though. OP do you have any intake mods?

Hi all

I don't have a wing shim and have looked at the bootlid to make sure that there is no movement, so doubt that it is related to that. Perhaps it's a baffle coming loose in the muffler?

My air induction system is completely standard and no one has mentioned hearing any noises from the side of the track or from within the car.

I took another video recently with the camera in front of the rear wheel and couldn't pick up the noise. Perhaps it was a once when the humidity, temperature, barometric pressure, etc were at the correct or incorrect levels to resonate with the camera?
