New Wheels

as I recall those OEM wheels are not light ... a "good" aftermarket wheel could take 5+lbs a corner off of your car...

Guys, I've checked these Jongbloed rims out including talking to them and I think they're a great quality item. I now need to decide on the colour of the centres. Lips will be satin anodised, and the shortlist for the centres is the blue anodised per the original image in this thread, the grey hard anodised in the images in this post, or a gunmetal powdercoat.
The blue is risky - might be fantastic or it might end up not translating that well. I think I'd have to supply a sample of what I want to be sure I'm not going to get a surprise as anodising isn't as exact as a paint colour or powdercoat. I'm actually thinking of a darker blue than the RS
Grey hard anodised looks tough in the photos but I wonder if it's too light and may present differently in the flesh?
Powdercoat I've got in mind has a metallic fleck and it might lift the presentation of the wheels but might also look at little too glitzy. They will be track rims after all and they need to look purposeful before beautiful.
BTW the look and lip dish will look the same as the fronts on the Boxster and 6mm less on the rears which I think looks tough.
So thoughts and opinions?

I agree, Gold would be first choice and silver second.

Found out the RSR centres are raw aluminium. Presumably they last longer than a race season so who cares about oxidisation. It's probably safer in terms of lock nut staying done up too.
I'd go for clear anodised if this is the look of choice. I'm leaning this way for the time being but may change my mind....
