Default 242 km/h ave speed in last 7 hrs?! Need DME/engine log expert..

I've got some unusual info from the DME readouts that I need a little help interpreting...

Odometer reading: 259XX km

Read A: Most recent readout ~ 3days ago:
Range 1 3663 697.4 h
Range 2 --
Oper hours 701.6
Total distance 24630 km
Airbag hours 762:48:5 h

Read B: Old readout date unknown:
Range 1 3427 690.3 h
Range 2 --
Oper hours 693.6
Total distance 22920 km
Airbag hrs unknown

So lots of questions...
1) Why would the odometer have gone 1300km farther than the total distance in the DME?
2) How could the DME increment 1710 km in only 7 hrs (average speed of 242 km/h) between read A and B?
3) Is it unusual to have ~60hrs more on the airbag read than the DME read? Is this related to my Q1?

Someone must know something... I'd found a few threads talking about how some logs can have weird readings (eg. Type 1 and type 2 counts being swapped) but nothing like this.

The DME readouts are highly suspect so take them with a grain of salt. My car only records type 2s but no type 1s anymore for example.

^Interesting. I'm probably being a bit paranoid about this car purchase and being super thorough. I guess the most important thing is there are no type 2 ignitions and the mileage between the cluster and DME are close-ish.

I wonder what other anomalies people have seen...

When I had mine read the kms on the DME were also slightly lower than what the odometer read. Is there a reason for this?

OP, I wouldn't be concerned at all, no Type 2s and barely any Type 1s (not that type 1s mean anything anyhow). Buy, drive and enjoy.

I am far from an expert at anything, including my chosen profession but I can supply some anecdotal information. During my search for a GT3 several years ago I came across several anomalies when it came to DME readouts. Some have been mentioned above. IIRC, two cars I looked into had only range 2 overrevs with zero range I’s. None of the 5 or 6 cars I received readouts for had DME kms match the odometer (DME lower in each case). The car I ended up purchasing had 7 range 2 ignitions that occurred at 0.1 hours meaning it happened at the factory per a tech at a Porsche dealership. Go figure.
