If you own or have driven one you will understand the uniqueness of it. Over time more enthusiasts will find it special and value will go up.

996 GT3 Club sport from Europe are the cars to get your hands on. Us had the Tequipment Roll cages fitted which never looked as nice.

Low mileage examples certainly will hit GBP90k (140kUSD)very soon in my opinion.

Look at the 996 GT3 RS they are already going crazy.

To be a possible investment, That means keeping miles very low and staying away from track.
But owning a 6.3 and be able to use without loosing money that is the best out of two worlds.
Enjoy these cars.

^^^ true but I think the track cars will still appreciate. Thankfully the track junkies got to the 996 GT3 before joe-collector could get his hands (and bubble wrap) on them, so many have already been tarred with the track rat brush. At least that's what I tell myself to make me feel better about driving it properly!

Just look at the 93/94 RSA as a comparison. Tracked beaters with high miles are now selling for over $100K, and the pristine garage queens are crossing $200k.

The same will happen with the GT3 IMHO within 10 years. Until then - I will drive it like I stole it! What a great track car!

My $.02,
-B
