cracking day out. weather was superb so took the beetle. 15 mins up the road in the red baron ;-)

there were a LOT of people and cars there for a Monday I have to say.

Lotus advertised on Facebook a few days ago they were doing a FREE day for public at brands as some sort of filming day.

pit walk at 1.15 was cool and got close to the drivers. they were chucking out merchandise so managed to get a signed Groesjan hat. the Pastor one was badly damaged ;-)


the F23 sounded a bit louder than I thought and you can really hear the turbo whistling. like a le mans cars. they way to covers ground is amazing even only on half throttle. cars were limited on laps and revs to ensure it was not seen as a 'test' day.



the 72 lotus was awesome and what a sound. done 5-6 lap stints and was not hanging about at all.



the funniest bit was the Merc 4x4 thingy with the loud v8 and the camera bit. was smoking the tyres out of clearways and nearly rolled at druids. quality!
