I need to sue someone. I was unhappy with my life, so I bought a GT2, thinking that such a perfect car would make my life perfect, and that I would be in a state of perpetual bliss, and that I would live happily ever after to the end of my days. But alas, the wing on the rear of my car now appears to have a defect. The car is no longer perfect. How shall I ever live happily ever after, when at all times, in the back of my mind, I will know that my perfect car is not perfect, therefore my life is not perfect. Not perfect? My life is a wreck. Either Porsche agrees to give me a brand new GT2 that is perfect in every way, or I shall sue them for ruining my life.

Last time I checked, everyone was laughing at YOU.

Well, now you know how retarded some people are in this country. How did you ever come to afford a GT2 with such stupidity? What kind of job do you have? Surely it can't be a job that requires any knowledge or use of the brain.

I think i'm going to sue God for allowing such retarded people to be born!

E.J. 993,

I guess you never asked for anything out of the ordinary.
If you never ask, you'll never know.
Some people simply live in a square 'BOX' and never ask what 'if'.

As for the $, I just happen to find $210k on the street to pay for the GT2.
In regards to the 'smarts' - It sound like I'm the one that have it and you..
Then, I don't really understand why I'm responding to you CONSIDERING
you can't seem to respect some one else's opinion.

What opinion is that Mr. 0396? That you should get special treatment since you bought such an expensive car? Or because of your Sue 'em or Screw 'em attitude? No thanks.

BTW - I guess you all misunderstood my post, so I have edited it with red bold for emphasis.

You are the one that wants to sue porsche for something that is completely common, paint cracks, fades, peels. It's nothing new, it happens. YOu are making way to big a deal about the situation. I bet a good amount of cars come to the docks w/ problems and are repainted. It happens w/ EVERY SINGLE manufacturer out there. I wouldn't be suprised if it happened to your car before you bought it. I had a buddy who owns a body shop and does work for the local acura dealer. He says you'd be amazed at how many cars come in for work before they are even sold!

Uhhh, a lawyer probably. (No offense to any other intelligent lawyers out there.)

Remember, this is America......Land of the free and home of the brave. The land where you are not responsible for your own actions and when you do something stupid, you can sue someone else for it and retire fat and happy with the award.

Let the dealer address this as best as they know how. Their proposal is the way it is normally done. Quite frankly, the bodyshop they direct you to will probably do a better job than from the factory paint anyway since the dealers have to choose these shops to provide the quality of service and product that their discriminating customer base expects.

Lose the "suit happy" attitude, grow up and allow the dealer to do their job.
