Need Advice - 997 C2S vs 996 GT3
Without going into details I have found myself with a 2006 997 C2S, Red with black interior and with 36K miles and a 2004 GT3 black on black with 56K non-tracked miles serviced at the local Porsche dealer since new so no tracking confirmed).
I can't keep both cars. My use of the car will be primarily daily driver with occasional track use ( I have a full blown 944 S2 race car for the track ).
Which car should I sell and for how much and which car should I keep. I have 47K in the C2S and 43K in the GT3?

Keep the C2S. You can fit small people in the back and the interior is nicer for daily driving. If you have a full blown race car, I think you're "other" porsche shouldn't be a track car

Sure...if you are actually driving it. I don't consider going 0-10mph, braking, clutch-in, go to neutral, clutch-in, first gear, accelerate to 10mph and repeating 500 times actual driving. And I think it makes you associate the car with the daily grind...much rather only drive it hard and fast

Josh, Certainly there is some of that especially here in LA, but not for endless time. There are openings, great roads off the beaten path, fun freeway runs, etc. Maybe it's just a few of us, but I love driving this car, no matter where or when. YMMV

I have a nice stretch of road by the Berkeley yacht club that you can drive over and over. Let's just say those electric handicap wheelchairs would be faster than you. Lmk when u drive up to San Francisco : ). Mike

Only a few fun turns on my commute...definitely not worth the traffic on the 101

Actually the price was 38.7 K but there were taxes, a new clear bra, and the replacement of a number of parts just to get the car back to "perfect" So I have 43K in the car. I really am not sure what it is worth. It has just under 56K miles but has been serviced since 2006 by the local Porsche dealer and they say the guy never tracked it. They did all the regular servicing. What could I get for it? It really is in 95% condition.
