the suspension tuning from Andial was wonderful until i changed to a new set of factory wheels and pilots from wheel enhancement.... which ruined the handling; something nust be defective in that wheel set and JOhn is going to solve it this week,

Elko was fun, the road smooth fast and pretty, the crowd amusing.. it was an eye opener what averaging 140 over 100 miles means: i run hard for 700 mile up there, but averaging a high speed like 140 requires cornering at 130 and straights at 165... a long highway drive even with sustained 140-150 still averages out at 100 mph due to gas stops and slow downs for towns, blind corners, etc....

Watt, I can't beleive you entrusted Wheel Enhancements with your High Speed wheels, are you crazy?! It must be the crappy wheel bolts throwing off the balance, or they used repaired or senconds. J/K!

I hope it doesn't take John 4 months to get it taken car of.

Glad you made it safely!

Oak,
i spoke to Dieter, there is no way changing wheels can affect the settings which were amazingly good. so something has to be defective about the new wheels and tyres. my old ones will go back on wed/thur when they arrive back in town.

i came very close to losing the car and slowed down.

what is repaired or seconds, the wheels?

watt, It must be the lugs. I was being facetious.

I hope they don't take as long as they did to remedy your problems, as they did mine.

Which wheels did originally run?

maybe the tires are out of round or the wheels are off-balance? i imagine either of those would be pretty problematic at 165mph.

wheel enhancement checked the wheels, the road force is 20-ish w/in spec and the balances were off .25-.5 which john says happens unless they get the same spot every time. he thinks the new wheels are fine.

my old wheels are back on and the car feels more nimble and as tho' the wheels/tyres are lighter, altho' the weight is the same as the new ones.

i dont know whats wrong with the new ones and neither does john. i'll try the old ones at speed when i get a chance, and then try the new ones re-balanced. could .25-.5 be enought to cause a problem at 140-165 mph?

i'm at a loss, any suggestions gratefully accepted guys
