Carbon Ceramic Brake kits Offered by RacingBrake for Porsche 997 & 996 GT3
RacingBrake (RB) is pleased to announce the release of Carbon Ceramic brake kits for your 911 (996/997):
These CCM brake kits contain RB forged calipers, and forged aluminum hats assembled to Corvette ZR1 CCM rotor rings. Designed and built as alternative/upgrade for 996 GT3 PCCB, 996 and 997 etc.
Front rotor kit: 393x36mm
Rear rotor kit: 380x34mm
Calipers are made from forged aluminum alloy; 6-piston front (7075-T6), and 4-piston rear (6061-T6) precisely designed and built for the lasting performance and easy maintenance.
Click here to view the comparison chart and learn how RB calipers are built different than others, and demystify whether mono-block or two halves construction is stiffer.
Advantage of RB CCM Rotor Kits:
Complete car set CCM brake kit for 142mm caliper mt spread upright:

Thank you.

Advantage of RB CCM Rotor Kits:
- Brake pads are standard FMSI, you can install either ZR1 (D1395/D1165) or GT-R (D1382/D1383=D968), with a variety of brands and compounds to choose from to keep your cost down; not a proprietary nature like those kits offered by others.
- Same price as we offer for other cars (Porsche Tax is not added)
- Just like brake pads, when you need CCM rotor ring replacement, shop around get the best deal and DIY - Save big money w/o wondering what the cost will be and when to expect shipment.
- Want to switch to iron rotor kits, no problem, just purchase RB iron rotors and instantly swap your CCM rotors back to iron rotors to suit your need. Since our iron rotors are center mount, so if you already have our 350x34 / 350x28 set up, for 380mm rotor kits you can even re-use the same hats as the offset remains unchanged.
- Brake kits are designed and built in our Fullerton, CA facility - Made in USA with the latest brake technology.
- Local availability means prompt tech supports, and/or customer service whenever you need it.

What we need are cheap(er) 350mm CCB, so they can be directly swapped on without changing out all the calipers, etc. Too bad the ZR-1 CCM rotors are so big. That wouldn't clear the 18" rims, right?

OEM 997PCCB 380/350s clear some 18s but it's tight. That's what I run. If someone made reasonably priced direct swap rotors I'd be in. Nothing wrong with the OEM Brembo calipers.

Stock size ST CCM-X discs on hand:
350x34 on left; 350x28 on right:
350x34 on top; 350x28 on bottom:
They can be made for PCCB replacement or steel rotor upgrade, and will fit under stock wheels naturally.

I had PCCB, then switched to iron.. but just saying if a "cheap" alternative is around, it might change people's mind.
The ST rotors are superior no doubt, but they are still $$$. The idea of using the ZR-1 rotors is a good idea but unfortunately the size is too large!
