New GT3 owner saying hi
I usually haunt the 964 forum but I figured I'd say hi and introduce myself. My name is Dan, I've had my silver '04 for about a month and a half now. I've been busy getting things sorted, she was bone stock when I took delivery.
along side my '90 C2....dont mind my brothers longhood project in the background
thanks for the look

Hi Dan,
Let me know if you're in SoCal. There are a few of us with 996 GT3s that go for drives once a while. Nice rims.

thanks for the kind words and welcome folks
as for suspension all of my control arms and toe links are stock currently, I have to pace myself with the upgrades... Im sure you all know too well the cost involved lol. I had a leaking rear coilover when I got it so I bought a new set of coilovers. Ive had good luck with a boutique hand built H&R setup on my 964 so i went with the same for the GT3, hands down the best coilovers I've ever driven on. Turns out mine was the first GT3 setup they have ever done so I guess im a bit of a test subject. It comes from AH Exclusive in Germany and its available through rotiform.com as they are the exclusive US retailer. I JUST got it all put together so I have to get it aligned and corner balanced this week.
Hopefully I'll be able to give some feedback on it after that.

Two really nice 911's so similar but perhaps more different. I'm trying to follow you - adding a 964 to keep my GT3 company. But my 964 is going to need much more than upgrades. It's not as far back as that long hood project - but a long long way from your beautiful 964.
