Default Cost of Rear Struts

Does anyone know what a pair of rear struts cost for a 2004 GT3?

Dealer quoted over $3200 for two, which seems a little high.

Thanks.

If you can deal with the down time send them to blistein to be rebuilt. Top end shock rebuilders do services around $200 a shock I can't see these being any more expensive to service.

Oddly enough the OEM standard GT3 shock (part number ending in 95) is more expensive than the OEM 996 GT3 RS shock (part number ending in 97).

Depending on the source I see a shop offering the RS shock as low as 425ea and the cheapest I saw the standard shock in a quick search was 650ea

Keep in mind your shop is probably hitting you for alignment after the install as well since they will have to re-set ride heights.

$650?

Suncoast wants $890 each.

We try to keep our prices as up-to-date as possible, but as most of you know, Porsche's parts prices change very regularly. Because of this thread, I decided to verify our pricing with Porsche, and the prices have increased recently. I've updated our pricing on the website so as to avoid problems when someone places an order. I think you'll find that our prices are still reasonable. If anyone else has the GT3 struts marked at $650, their pricing is likely out of date too. I wanted to throw this post up before anyone starts thinking that AudiOn19s is crazy. Let me know if you have any questions or concerns.

I paid $2500 with shipping for a full set of Ohlins DFV coilovers for GT3/GT2 to convert a 996 TT to RWD, now I just need the rest of the bits and pieces
