Do you mind describing your thought process about making this trade? Though the RGT looks gorgeous, I would find it difficult to justify/explain the trade.

1) I usually do not keep a car longer than 3 or 4 years
2) Love the color
3) Like the fact there is only 2 in the US maybe 10 in the world
4 ) intergraded roll bar ( if you have seen me on the track I need it)
5) had 2 04 GT3 and loved them
6) market was hot for the RS sold it for as much as I paid new.
7) $$$ back in my pocket

It may not make sense to some ...But it did to me and my family!

Thx Friz. Didn't mean to question your decision. Just wanted to see if I was missing anything. Your thought process makes perfect sense. Btw, I love my 6GT3, too.

Thx for the pics. Agree that it's a lovely colour, but having said that, the interior is a bit loud for my tastes. I'm sure it's a tight and very responsive car to drive. Good luck!

What's that beautiful color, btw? Is it one of the Porsche PTS colors?

Pretty awesome if you ask me! Since back in the days, the 996RS was based on the narrow body chassis like the standard GT3, this is the way to get the widebody setup! (Ruf and Cargraphic both use those fender flairs) 993 GT2 style!

Very VERY nice. Congrats!

Interested in finding out more detail on how RUF went about getting the additional 15 HP from the base model's 380 HP?

Also, how does the quoted weight compare with those claimed for the 996 RS?

What's the motor like? Still a 3.6L? More power than stock? Suspension stuff? Ride height looks a bit high (or I'm used to low GT3's...).
Looks sweet. Love the colour.

Looks great, didn't notice the 993 GT2 style fender flares in the other pic.
