Default Free and undetectable 6 lb weight reduction!

My 3 is not a daily driver and in Arizona, I have no reason to ever subject my car to rain, so I drained the washer fluid reservoir and holy cow, got at least a gallon out of there! At approx. 8lbs per gallon (for water), thats a pretty nice weight reduction.

Only problem was the low fluid light then came on. So, I did some expirementing and if you put back 32 ounces, the light goes away. So there you go. Just thought I would share since I had not previously seen any posts documenting how much fluid you have to retain to avoid a dash light!

Happy new year!

Correction....the fluid I removed was 7lbs 1 ounce! Every little bit helps!! Also removed the rear speakers and reinstalled the empty grills. After experimenting with fading all the sound to the front speakers, I realized the rears did not add much to the already pathetic sound quality so out they came! Only about ten ounces each, but it all adds up!

Be sure to empty your bladder before driving as well.

If you can get 7lbs out of your bladder, you probably shouldn't be driving. You're probably still drunk! XD
