Dogbones Worthwhile Track Upgrade?
I'm looking for feedback as to whether or not it's really a worthwhile upgrade to replace my rear upper control arms (dogbones) with adjustable units such as RSS. I'm currently running rear toe links, Cargraphic Tuner GP coilovers and a track alignment. The ride height is set only slightly lower than stock. I don't need dogbones from the perspective of attaining desired rear camber, but am wondering if losing a few more rubber bushings will provide a functional improvement in handling and laptimes?

Thank you. Would it be dumb to replace dogbones and leave stock lower control arms / thrust arm bushings? I have 2-piece LCA's in the rear, but they're just factory front 2-piece arms with rotated thrust arm bushings.
I have the rear toe arms (and locking plates). The shocks (Bilstein cup part numbers) that are part of the Cargraphic coilover package are reportedly low mileage, I bought the setup from 911SLOW last year. Car also has f/r spherical swaybar droplinks and spherical rear strut mounts.
I am planning to have my alignment tweaked slightly before next track season, so was thinking about dogbones while I'm at it.

Either replace it all or drive it stock. Put doing it piece by piece makes no sense and will cost you more in the long run with compounding labor and multiple alignments. Remember, every time you upgrade a piece to a rubber-less unit, you now expose (and the car will find it on track) the next weakest link.
If you have to go in order, replace the toe links first, then the LCA, then the rest.

Thx gents. I assume these recommendations also include the front LCA's. What about the diagonal thrust (tuning fork) arms? I see that RSS doesn't offer them, but Tarett does.

there is not LCA up front, there's a tie rod. you can do it if budget permits. but it has less even than the rest.
the thrust arm tuning fork think.... tarret and GMG has them. pls sit down now.
they are $1000 for the car. it has the least effect of all the pieces. call and talk to tarret, he speaks the truth and will tell you the same. it's beautfil machining tho. i have one on the wall. i only bought ONE for display, too much to get dirty on the car.

I guess I should have confirmed first, does LCA stand for lower control arm? Are you saying it's not worth installing RSS ones in the front? Thx again.

think what Mooty meant was, there's no front toe-link but a steering tie-rod instead.
Is indeed a LCA/lower control arm up front...the LCA's on TT/Carrera are same front/rear while on a stock GT they have a split/adjustable design up front with standard design on rear.
I see no reason for installing aftermarket LCA's(but would add monoball ends or inserts on factory LCA 'outers', and would consider putting the front end style LCA's on rear for camber adjustability as well )..

if retaining some rubber in the suspension, there's also the option of poly bushings for the thrust arm bushing from Powerflex...there's also a few others than those talked about above that also make billet/solid bushing options...

replacing inner mon all on lca is fine
it's worth it is u have budget, if not, do rear first.
