Thinking about Hoosiers
#32
Follow up. Both sizes work. I've run both
245/40 works better for me cause car was professional set up a track with kuhmos.
The 245/40 kuhmos are almost exact size as 245/40 Hoosiers.
Kuhmos are still faster for me. I need to adjust driving style to get most out of Hoosiers

Alignment only? Run NT01s or "street" tires like the PS2.
If you have revalved shocks, more aggressive springs, mono all suspension bits, etc, then you'd be fine with the r6. Personally, I'd run the NT01 regardless. They last 2-3x as long and about $500 a set cheaper. Best bang for the buck tire out there. Plus, more forgiving at "the limit" than the r6
Also, it's important to understand that tires are also a suspension component and matching your tire to your suspension is crucial to get the best performance out of the car.

I honestly chose to run nt01's year round on my gt2, and for my track events. Yea the Hoosiers were just that much better but they just got too expensive, and the difference just didn't matter once you tried to chase your own *** with lap times to realize whatever, it's still all fun !
Dell hope all is well my old buddy!
