Default What tires are you using for wet sessions?

So what is your tire of choice for wet sessions?
How about sizing? Narrower?

I run my street tires (Sumitomo HTR ZIII), stock sizes, during wet track days. They're crazy cheap at Tire Rack, and actually not that bad. Here's a vid during a very wet day at Ridge Motorsport Park, lots of standing water so I was taking it easy, 2:15.5 lap.

But they're obviously much slower than 245/315 NT01's in the dry! This was a 1:54.6, so about 20sec or 15% quicker.

Michelin Pilot Super Sport would be your best bet, unfortunately they don't make them in the proper 18" 996 sizes.

PS2s do the job, but they are really expensive, especially considering that the vastly superior PSS is significantly cheaper.

PS2 was always a good tire in the wet for me. Autocross sport cup work fine with an extra 9 lbs. Got the number from a Michelin presentation. Would not have though of it but works great.
