GT3 FRONT BUMPER
I had an off track ride last weekend. I put a basketball size hole in my front bumper. Luckily I didn't hurt anything but the bumper and splitter. Does anyone have an OEM bumper for sale? Color is not an issue,I would have it painted. I would like one in good condition.
Thanks for your help!

Thanks for the advice. I would love to do a cup splitter. I understand that they go lower than the stock splitter. I already tear the stock splitter off every time I leave the track or even worse load the car in a hurry into the trailer. Is the cup bumper basically the same thing? Will the radiator screens etc fit the same? Does anyone have a good source to get a cup bumper? Again thanks for the help! Bill

I'm in the same boat, these things are expensive to purchase AND to ship.
- Cup bumper is cheaper, but still a lot. Has square vent slots on top
- OEM even more, $3000 to $4000
- Did E-Bay, found a nice OEM RS by Cargraphic, but shipping from Germany is 450 Euros. Nice rounded vent slots on top surface. This is a very nice product
- 996 Aero Kit is approx $1500 and comes complete, ready to paint http://www.suncoastparts.com/product...ory_Code=996G2 Direct fit, no slots
- Then there's Getty Design for fiberglass or carbon. Carbon is more, but nicer finish ($900 - $1300)
Cup splitter is soft rubber and can bend. It's the only part that survived and that is reusable in my case.

Somebody has one for sale (black) on the PCA website. It's apparently a take-off.

Seems like the aerokit bumper might be the best way to go, is there really any difference between that and a factory GT3 bumper? Looks damn close.

Yes, you need the central opening, which is blocked on the aero kit bumper, but it is blocked by the black "backing" piece. This can be cut open.

I ordered one last year. Same thing as you described; the backing piece comes right off. Only other difference is the aero kit bumper comes with two holes for license plate screws.
Sorry to hear about your incident at RA, Seb filled me in at Mosport. Was hoping to get out on the track with you there. Main thing is you're okay.
See you next year.
