My tech is doing the rs lwfw intall now, together with rs crank pulley, and tells me the bolt that comes with the RS pulley is a tad bit too long, as its bottoming on the crank before it gets tight (allowing the spacer/shim to spin). Anyone else ever run into this issue? He is checking on it but I thought I'd ask here to see what other folks have encountered. We can re-use stock length bolt but it seems odd that the rs kit bolt (including the spacer or shim) does not seem to be compatible with my crank. Any advice would be great.

There's some confusion on this...some of which I'm sure I helped contribute to by noting down numbers and spitting them back out before actually doing this work myself.
There are 3 bolt lengths listed. 33mm, 48mm and 40mm. I believe the proper one to be the 40mm bolt. You're correct the 48 is just a smidge too long.
part number for the 40mm bolt is: 993.102.550.80. prepare your rear end for the price as it's ~$45
Also, don't forget you need the magical friction washer that's diamond coated and sits between the pulley and the crank ~$35 bucks. 996.102.203.90

The 33mm bolt is the correct one. If using pulley 996 102 017 95, bolt 999 277 128 01 and the washer 999 025 174 02.

My shop just put an EVOMS lightweight pulley on the car. I was told that they followed EVOMS' instruction and did not use any washer... Anyone has experience on this issue? I hope that's okay...
