Default Broken clutch fork bearing boss

I have a 2004 gt3 with a broken clutch fork pivot shaft outer bearing boss (ear) . The ear is toast. My options are repair the case by welding or replace the damaged section of the case. Has any one had any experience with an outfit called Californiamotorsports . They grind out the damaged area and weld in a replacement ear. Any info is appreciated. Pictures may follow. BTW I live in philadelphia .

If I recall correctly I met a GT3 owner last year who had a similar problem that was fixed by welding on the case - either a new or repaired ear. The case is a lightweight alloy. He had the repairs done at a shop that works on marine castings and alloys. Sorry I don't have any more than info than that.
Good luck
