I want to modernize my stereo unit and speakers in my 6GT3. I want bluetooth radio and telephone, touch screen face plate, usb and auxiliary connectivity. I need bass too! OEM is preferred from maybe a later model. Anyone do this to theirs, or have any input, or even have anything for sale?

Thanks in advance.

Why - the music is already behind the rear axle!

Bluetooth is difficult in a car that naturally makes so much noise... Talking with a cell phone to your ear is hard enough!

Fortunately, any single din aftermarket cd player can be installed into the 996.

I've just upgraded to blaupunkt Toronto 420bt as it should be straight plug and play with existing loom, not exactly true. Having a little issue with telephone ground. Unit looks good and by all accounts ups the quality from Becker.

I know I know guys, I barely drive the car and when I do it's within a mile or two radius from my house, usually taking a girl out on a date, and I really just want some good sounding music in there. When i am alone there is no music playing whatsoever aside from the beautiful sounds of the engine. I was thinking of dynamating the car too, to reduce the road noise.

You should mount a huge fe bottle in front of passenger seat. Tell girl cocktail dress is mandatory and legs spread : ). Mike

I'm single because I choose to be and I'm only 30 years old. Why be miserable like the rest of you? All the girls I bang are 18 to 24. Now does it make sense why I need a better sound system? Either way, I dropped the car off at my friends shop in Northridge and getting everything done. Will have the car back on Saturday. Can't wait.
