New GT3 owner, getting ready for track questions
Hi All,
Just picked up a new-to-me GT3 and will be leaving for 6 track days probably a week after I get the car :-)
I have been looking for a procedure to flush the coolant and not found one - can someone point one out to me?
I am also looking for the part numbers for the collant hoses that are recommended to be carried as spares.
Is there anythiong elsy that I should spare?
This car has been tracked a lot so a lot has been done - just not sure what is needed since I have yet to see the car.
TIA
Ray

Yep - we will be there and then Calabogie - I will be # 113 in the Red group, going far slower than any GT3 has a right to. My 1st track experience with this car :-)
John will be one of the many completely humbling me...
Previous ride was a Subaru STi - just a little different!

The GT3 you got will be very sensitive to throttle application and there are several spots at Calabogie and some spots at Tremblant where if you are carrying good speed and do not know the characteristics of the GT3 it can really bite you.

I know the track like the back of my hand, well maybe better then the back of my hand but anyway... Do you know the Karls? they drive Tikka? They will be there and Kristen usually drives in Black but she is an Instructor so she could ride with you in Red. She is a fantastic driver and instructor and would outshine me big time. I still might pop up there and I am PCA Certified so perhaps they would let me ride with you even if I don't register...

Francois, looking forward to seeing you again, can't wait to get back on Tremblant, it's been two years. Too long.......
Pray for good weather, it's looking a little iffy.
