Default Plastidip on Aluminum Screens??

Anyone tried Plastidip on aluminum grill screens? The paint (I assume not powdercoat) on my Cargraphic screens has peeled off. I was thinking about using some self-etching primer with a coat of paint, but then thought of Plastidip.

Maybe try it on some 1/4" square weave chicken wire first?

We have done this in home building on occasion with mixed results. i would do a mock up and a few tests but the concept is sound.
