EDIT - my mistake guys!
This does not apply to 996 cars, and only 997 / 997.2 GT3 models.

Do you have a photo of this part in relation to the oil cooler?

I did my own tear down when I did my coolant repair and for the life of me can't remember these plastic fittings

996 cars have 8 fittings that need welded vs 6 on the 997 cars, those additional 2 fittings are on the oil cooler housing. Are you certain these apply to us 996 folks?

Hey guys, sorry I made a big mistake on this. These pipes are not used/not required on 996 GT3 models. You are all safe!

Dan was just too excited that another coolant issue/fix came up. I mean after all he's always been the number UNO lover of coolant here.

Your car has the extra 2 cooling pipes that require pinning. The tubes at the heat exchanger are like the other 6 on the 997 GT3 that will eject from the housings.
