Ray, I will be at Lime Rock on 7/10. I hardly do those far away tracks as I don't have a tow setup. (Still drive to the track!!) But I did LCMT a few years ago. Very nice track!!

Seems like it would be a very useful piece of equipment. My floor mat tends to get crushed up in the footwell when on track and it's obviously a safety issue!

Correct, it is a safety thing, that's why it is required here to remove the carpet.

Here's a view on what it looks like near the pedals.

Yeah, the plan is to keep it forever, since it is worthless now that it has been well used...

Finally went with studs (for no reason, really..)! Also installed the AP Racing rotors on the back, replacing the worn PCCB. Those PCCB are officially retired!

It is more of a gray alcantara shift **** with red-stitching...I've also replaced the pieces on the side ofwith black leather...but to answer your question, yes.

I think the black shift boot looks great in the tan environment, especially considering the surround is black anyway. Somehow, the alcantara makes shifting more enjoyable. As others have said, Alcantara is wonderful stuff. Just the other day I caught myself touching the headliner and feeling good about that

The studs, bullets, are fantastic too! My car came equipped with those, and it truly makes taking the wheels off and on sooooo much easier. They also look the business

Rennline trackmat is a must! Keeps everything in its place.

Center Console delete is also one of my favorite mods. It creates valuable space for the knee, especially for us tall guys, and also reminds me of an early car. More light in the cabin and more space to enjoy!
