Unsolicited Rennfax for those looking- higher mile GT3 in Los Angeles
I've been extremely curious about GT3s having owned a turbo for about 3 years now, this one is local, so I thought I'd take it for a test drive-

Keep in mind I'm extremely picky about cars-
The car has 73k miles, and it shows. I assume it has seen significant track time, has Motons installed, as well as a rollbar. I don't know whose bar it is, it has an extension for the drivers seat to be set back a bit.
Exterior- paint is a bit rough, but not a lot of rock chips you'd expect on a track rat. As far as I can tell, most of the paint is original, the driver side rear quarter has been painted- but looks like quality work.
Interior- has a lot of CF, most of which is cracked, including steering wheel. The driver seat is worn significantly. With a replacement drivers seat, the interior would clean up fairly nicely.
Brake calipers are not yellow from track use, but clear coat is peeling. Brake rotors have cracking, but not terrible. Brakes grumbled a bit when stopping, I've never experienced that with my turbo. The pads appear to be newish.
The carfax shows the car has failed emissions twice recently. Has stock exhaust, so maybe the cats are going.
The motor pulls strong, doesn't make any odd noises I could hear, but this is the first GT3 I've ever driven. I did not pull an overrev report.
So- hopefully this report is valuable for those shopping. If you're looking for a showroom condition garage queen, probably not your car. If you want a stripper, track rat, or just something to beat the **** out of- maybe a good purchase.
