Gt2 rear brake ducts on 996TT. Help.
Hi.
I heard I can fit some rear brake ducts from the GT2 on my 996TT S. Anyone know the part numbers ? Is it a straight fit or is there any mods to do to make them fit ? Thanks.

ill take some photos of my extra set front and rear so you can see, they are pricy and come off easy if you have the car set lowered and hit the grass at all. I know we are not supposed to hit the grass but with pushing comes new off road experiences.

I finally took the plunge and ordered the way too cheap ones off eBay after splintering my 3 set of bd's made from fiberglass. $20 each PAIR and are perfect ie well made and fit well on the gt3 - talk to szensius@fjfremont.com at porsche of Fremont. Nice guy - went the extra mile too for my measly order of 2 sets.
Actually took them farming the first day and they survived admirably!

Yes, the GT2 rear brake ducts are a direct fit on the 996tt with no modification. Very easy job, they just clip on to the rear LCA with the supplied hardware. You will need to trim the metal rear brake heat shield on the inside of the rear brake rotor so that cooling air can get to the rotor.
Part numbers are: 996 331 127 90 and 996 331 128 90.
Cost about $200 for the pair...

You could go with the GT3 ones that are cheaper but doesn't redirect as much air under your car as the GT2 ones.
