Door windows drop 1/2" when the doors are opened and return to the full closed position when the doors are closed, but they can't be lowered using the switches on the console. It seems strange that both switches went bad at the same time. Any possible causes/solutions would be appreciated.
Thanks for the helpful info; it appears that the power door locks are also not working. I'll take a look at fuse # 3 Row "C" over the weekend once the Nor'easter blows over.
Replaced fuse C3 over the weekend, the windows worked and 5 - 10 minutes later the fuse blew out again. Any troubleshooting hints would be appreciated.
Fuse C3 covers central locking, alarm system, power windows and interior lights.
I had a problem (a short) with the psgr side door lock mechanism that kept blowing that fuse.
