Default Throttle Pedal

Has anyone tried the GSR Perfomance Porsche Race Pedal that Tarett sells? My pedal is about to fall off and it looks like a good option but I am wondering if the aluminum surface is slippery.

Looks nice! I didn't have time to try it but the slippery surface doesn't bother me.
In fact, in my pedals, I opted for a surface with lower coefficient of friction in the gas pedal, to facilitate smoother HnT.

Wish I saw this two weeks ago. Just replaced my throttle pedal. Broke off at the hinge.

Has anyone run the Tarrett pedal with a Rennline pedal cover? The smooth surface is a no-go for me, but I'd like to change my stock throttle pedal as it feels loose and not confidence-inspiring.

I think the Rennline pedal cover just screw over whatever existing pedal you got.. so I am sure you could put that over the Tarrett pedal since it just has an aluminum cover.. (might have to drill a few holes..)

Finished the installation of the Tarett/GSR throttle pedal. Very simple install with good instructions took about 1/2 hour. My OEM pedal had two of the four plastic hinges broken. New throttle pedal has steel hinge and completely fixed the wiggly pedal and feels very comfortable. Reusing of my old pedal cover would require new holes to be drilled to align with new pedal ribbed supports so it would require some simple modification but I do not think it is necessary to replace the one that it comes with. New cover is approximately 64mm wide at the top compared to 51mm of my old one. New cover is 72mm wide at the bottom compared to 78mm of my old one.

I think it looks really good, looking forward to trying it out.

The description says "Integrated hinge incorporates bronze bearings impregnated with 19% SAE 30 oil." Does that mean it never needs to be oiled?

I ordered these for both our cars the metal hinge is such an improvement over the plastic.

I installed the Rennline adjustable gas pedal yesterday, and it does look good. The whole thing is very solid.
I will make a simple diy post when I have driven the car and tried the adjustments a bit more.

So far my only negative comment is that the installation instructions where horrid, lacking a lot of information and seemed to be sent out only half-done. Would have saved a lot of time with a finished set of instructions.

Looking forward to your DIY write-up!

I think the other option for throttle pedal replacement is the one from Cargraphic.. I guess there's enough people breaking these throttle pedals...

I would love to have your DIY and if you rewrite the instructions I bet Rennline would upgrade theirs with your help.

Received my GSR pedal today. Ordered it from Tarett, who's service is second to none.

I called them last week since the GSR pedal is no longer on their website (they can still get it though). Not crazy about the Rennline pedals, so I'm happy with this.
