Thanks Matt, now I get it.

I never really thought it through that much, but yeah, you need your hands for sure in a 'hot' situation.

I have a pair of Simpsons, but with the seams on the inside. I'll be shopping this week.

Have used high-end Sparco gloves for years. But every time I find a favorite Sparco model they wear out and when I go to replace them I find that they've been discontinued; every time. Tried the new Sparco top of the line glove this year and the palm material came off after three events, so I exchanged them for a pair of the Alpinestars Tech 1-ZX. Seem to fit very nicely; will have to see how they hold up.

I only started driving with gloves recently. Took some time to get used to it, now I don't even notice them being on.

I have 2 sets and the Stand 21 the most comfortable, but don't last at all. I have had seem issues with 2 pair. I race with the oakley's due to the Carbon X material and the safety factor.
