Looked on Tirerack website and the tire doesn't come up for our cars.

285 is the largest section width they make in 18 inch. Not that you couldn't run the 285 but I'm guessing that's why they don't list it for our cars because that rear is smaller than factory.

Right, they don't have a matched set to sell. They have the 235/40 (front) tire in the SS ($226), but not the rear 295/30/18.

Another member bought the 285 rears and had no issues fitting them.

OK. Thought I was crazy. Didn't want to put another set of Nitto NT01s. Ok more research needed.
