Purely anecdotal, but I've never had an issue swapping pads with the same rotors (track / street), or bedding new rotors with old pads. I even swap my pads side to side and inside and outside to get even wear. The surfaces will mate
What is the expectation in the UK? You swap pads and rotors for street and track?
