Good morning guys,
The price listed is for the cable only. If you are interested in other parts talk to Seb and get a list going and i will see what we can do!!

Thanks,
Derek

Derek hi and welcome back as a sponsor. Please note that members can not handle money for RL group buys unless cleared by the admin.

Please, if you are interested, post your prices and organize the group buy , money, shipping etc.

I've mentioned it many times already but the 6cup cables are one of most rewarding upgrades for any manual / GT car. The only negative is the added noise transmitted in the cabin / shifter.

Best,

John

+1. Would like an all in cost for the conversion.

I'm in (does that make 7 or 8 ?)

I already swapped out the OEM shifter for the 997 GT3 shifter and that alone made a signif improvement.

Are the cables a DIY project?

Can you post pics of the cables in the kit? Also are these the cables under the car or in the cabin or both? Thanks!

i think so depending on your skills. you need to bolt them on to the trans. That might be the tricky part...

Derek, I PM'd you July 8 and still need a reply when you have a moment:

Re: Group buy for Cup Cables
Derek,
I have a 2007 997.1 GT3 with stock shifter and stock cables, but I have replaced the stock transmission with a 2005 GT3 Cup Car transmission.

Do I need just the cables, or do I need other parts as well to add the cup cables?

Thanks,
Peter

Peter - I believe, but don't quote me here, that you will need the appropriate rose joints and such that enable you to connect the cup car cables to your shifter. I can't recall if you'll need something on the transmission end but I know there is a very comprehensive post that details all the required parts floating around somewhere on Rennlist. I'd post a link but the bookmark is on my other computer although I think there is a link in the "Must Read GT3 Threads" sticky at the top of the 996GT3 forum. Hope this helps.

- Matt
