LWFW fitted now raised water temp?
Just picked up the car after having the LWFW, M030 clubsport clutch kit, LW pulley and 997 transmission mount fitted.
One thing I noticed on the way home was the temp gauge was much higher than previously. Usually it sits just to the right of the 80 on a euro gauge or between the 18 and 0 on ROW gauge, pic below is example, not my gauge.
Now, in normal traffic (and not really a hot day, 21C) it was up at the next marking (215F, 100C), never seen it that high. Has anyone seen this before after fitting these parts?
Will phone the shop monday morning but seeing if anyone has experienced the same.
Thanks.

Guessing air in the coolant lines. There are two lines that run under the tranny and one that runs to the tranny cooler that need to be removed for the transmission to come out.
If thats the case top off the expansion tank, flip up the bleeder valve and the air should work it's way out after a few days of driving.

This sounds exactly what it is, the shop actually had to replace 1 of the hoses, it's on the invoice. I'll bleed air and top up tomorrow. Many thanks for the quick response, got to love Rennlist!

LW crank pulley, mainly an issue with 997 but lighter has got to be better anyway, see here https://rennlist.com/forums/gt2-and-...track-diy.html

Souonds like you have an idea on where to start. For the record...my GT3 has had the LWFW installed since roughly 05 or 06; no temp issues. I had the LW crank pulley installed by Gold Crest last year.

Scott, there is another washer you need for the LW pulley you don't have listed that goes between the pulley and end of the crank, not there on the standard pulley. It's paper thin but diamond coated stupid washer was like $40 by itself. I'll find the part number and post it Monday.

Part number listed here https://rennlist.com/forums/8118041-post12.html. Also read DIY thread link i posted above, includes discussion on this washer. Came as part of kit I bought.
