Hi everyone, been thinking about raising the ride height on my car lately (110mm f, 120mm r) due to clearance issues with speed bumps etc locally. So I put my car on the scales to see the corner weights before I adjust anything to see how best to do it. They where as follows, (in kg),
LF 266.5. RF 266.5

Total 1464.5

LR 464.0. RR 467.5

Front percentage. Cross(LF/RR) Front total. Left total
36.39%. 50.12%. 533.0. 730.5

Rear percentage. Cross(RF/LR). Rear total Right total
63.61%. 49.88%. 931.5. 734.0

Left percentage. Right percentage. Front bite. Rear bite
49.88%. 50.12%. 0.0. -3.5

Just after some advice and opinions about adjusting things, I'm going to raise the ride height 5mm all around then check the corner weights again.

Also my alignment numbers are,

-3.2 camber front
0.01min toe each side

-2.4 camber rear
0.15 min toe each side

Out of curiosity, what tires are you running and did you rotate the strut hats in the front? I just set my ride heights to 102 / 117 with camber of -3.5 on the front and -2.5 with Toyo RA1s and really liked the setup at the track but caster is killing me right now as the front camber was achieved solely with shims (not by request!) so I'm rubbing on the leading edge of the fender well. Looking at tire wear, I think a touch less camber in the front would be just right.

I say don't raise your ride height but that's just me as I like my cars low. The GT3s like about 15mm of rake but not 100% sure if the GT2s are the same.

I have not heard of corner weights that good left to right. You are sitting on one side of the car after all. with such close corner weights, I would think it would change your ride hights from left to right.

Hi, I run mpsc, for now until my stash of 315's runs out,
my strut tops are rotated to cup position,
But with my current ride height, tops rotated and 7 mm shims my camber at 3.2 is the minimum I can get, another reason to raise it 5mm or so.
With this set up though my caster is just under 8.30 which is within specs I think.
I would definately rotate strut tops.
With my current camber settings it fine on track with even wear but when on the street with just straight line driving I am wear inside edge on the front tires.

Hi, yes they are very even side to side but is that necessarily a good thing?
I'm not sure what is the goal with corner balancing and how best to achieve it. This is all new to me, any help is greatly appreciated.
